I am a Veteran of the USAF and have been in Law Enforcement for 24 years. My goal is to share my writing, stories, poetry with those in First Responder, Military professions in an attempt to help them understand how event they often can affect them personally and professionally. I feel any person on this earth, regardless of profession or life, can have events that can affect them personally and professionally.
For me, writing helps. I call my Police Poetry LEOTRY and my Military Poetry MILOETRY. This not only get the stories out there, but allows the sharing of these amazing situations. It is amazing how many people contact me and either can associate with or know someone that may face these challenges.
Please take a read, drop me a message, share something. It is a long road to make it all work, but I have two good legs and a keyboard. Please join me in my goal of awareness and education so that we can help even just one person.

Dan, just listened to your audio poem and Fred and I are both in tears! You read this with such passion and honesty and the poem itself is so wonderful! Love your work and you guys!!

It added so much more meaning and feeling to hear you read this. I wish your book was on audio CD, as you know I listen to those when sewing.It would make me feel like you were here visiting with me,just a thought. Love, Mom
